GaryMS

Jul 30, 2010, 6:07 PM
🙂Spoke to a verizon rep this afternoon, said where to buy the clout, since they are probably not going to carry the phone. Call several of the verizon private stores one said they are getting it in tomorrow afternoon and that with a 2 year agreement would be $40. With a one year an extra 50, not bad will follow up tomorrow

Thanks Gary! Are you talking about the retail premium Verizon stores? Not the main ones. I live in Ohio, where are you from? I went to a few here, and they NEVER even heard of the phone. Please let me know where you are getting yours. I know you will follow up tomorrow. Thanks ahead of time!

Not sure on the keybd light color. Might be buried in one of the 2 links above. They are very detailed. I agree with you. I prefer flip phones to candy bar sliders etc. I mostly just talk. Sometimes text. Since the above links are Verizon related I suspect they will carry this phone eventually. Probably when stock on the 8360s runs out. If it's like the 8360 though they will probably get stuck with the data plan. They might rethink this as I've heard the sales of the 8360 dropped off when they forced the data plan on it. Have you had any luck sourcing one yet?

Thanks for the info again. The first link you posted, a white page comes up and says page not found. So I can't even get into that one. The second one is a Verizon one, and says page is temporarily unavailable, or not existent, please try later. So neither link is getting me anywhere. I found one on e-bay, actually this person had around 10 or so, so I just read about it, and they gave in detail what was required, meaning you have to be eligible for an upgrade or sign a contract with Verizon. They have the phone for $39.95, I'm assuming that is what you pay if you get a contract with Verizon, or a due for an upgrade. Still not a bad price at all, and they are offering free shipping. So I may try and contact them, I'll let you know. If you ca...

Not sure what's up with the links. Weird.
Here's the specs from when the link worked.
Hard to say on the color. Pictures look like dark grey charcoal but not quite black.
That's a good price for the phone. They get you on the per minute and text fees though and other things. My nights and weekends start at 7PM. My per minute fees are a lot less than Verizon direct. All the advantages of the Verizon network but not the cost.

Wow! That's a lot in that phone. I like the fact that it has a 2.0 megapixel camera also, instead of the 1.3, that's a nice feature. I will try those links through out the day, and see if they come up. Thanks!! 🙂
