Motorola Entice W766

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this phone uses hidden data like updating or the like, I have a palm pixi and I would rather have just a simple phone that I can maybe email once in a while or maybe go on the net every now and then. I text and talk basically the palm does not have a voice record that I miss, my niece and nephew send me songs they sing and I use them for ring tones I can't without going on my computer and going through a bunch of junk. Thanks
