iTunes vs Media Store

MORTFE

I have an iPhone with about 500 songs & several movies. Really like the Droid but not at the cost of losing all my music. Is there any way to transfer the songs & movies from an iPhone or iPod to the Droid? Thanks?

Yes, and No.

If your ITunes media is DRM'ed, then the droid will NOT play it. If it has not DRM attached, then the Droid will play it.

There is a motorola app, that I downloaded from the motorola site for sincing music, I just forgot what its called, and its on my home PC. I will write it when I get home tonight.

im not good with sincing music but what i would guess to do would to transfer your music from the iphone to your pc and then unplug it leaving the music on ur pc and then hook up the droid and transfer all the files from your pc to your droid... like say not good at that stuff but just an idea 😎

OK, the software is called Motorola Media Link and can be downloaded here:

http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/US-EN/Consumer-Pro ... »

This runs on your PC, and will read your media on the PC, and enable you to put it on your droid. It will read ITunes format, but not play DRM protected media.

Its not the best, hell, it almost s*cks, but it does work.

make sure you mount your droid via USB on the droid.

once you plug the micro-USB cable into the phone, display your notifications, and there should be a USB connect. select that, and the the mount button that appears on the pop-up window, and that should do it. Oh, and make sure the other end of the cable is already plugged into the PC.
