Anyone notice that the phone is getting buggier as days go on. The phone worked miraculously well at first, and now more and more peculiar things are occuring.

Where the h**l is the appropriate support? Verizon supports by playing with the phone while talking to you, Motorola just sends eveything up tier and does not return phone calls, and Google...well they have become the silent partner.

Can people list specific buggy issues they are experiencing so that we can assemble a consolidated of consistently experienced issues that can be thrown at these companies...they like to say there are no issues.

um...nope?

1. Google Maps/latitude...mapping of tag is not perfectly calibrated

On maps, its the same tagging that I see if I go to Google Maps on my PC. As to "my location", how do you define "perfectly calibrated"? GPS itself (despite claims to the contrary) is not perfectly calibrated. I have found the Google Maps location to be just as accurate the GPS from VZ Navigator.

So I'm not sure. Also, referencing your above claim that it is becoming more buggy, are you saying that it "used to be" acc...

Identifying location on maps was intiallly perfect, now there are discrepencies; and updating of a latitude friend's location can lag.

My calendar always defaulted back to the month view...meaning if I stepped backwards through each page view I opened of the calendar, the last view to be available before going to the home page was MONTHLY. Obviously, if you go back to home from the calendar, without backstepping and then return to the calendar, the last view is the one to open; but that is different than being the default view.

The time stamping of autosync (contacts, calendar and/or gmail) sometimes shows >12hrs since previous sync, even if information was updated; of course you can manually sync.

TXT status is a huge deal; why s...

Well, I don't use latitude. I don't think my friends need my exact GPS location 🙂 GPS accuracy is at least as good as my dare ever was, better most of the time. Basically, I'm apparently not having the same problem as you are 🙂

Very good info . . . but I agreed with many of bh8690 clarifications in his reply to you. The trash folder to any e-mail account will not delete items you deleted on the device.

Also . . . I'm finding that my contacts pics were populated or sync with Facebook but now I notice that when contacts update their Facebook pic it is not updating my contacts picture. Can this be forced?

Check if facebook sync is on. Mine defaulted to off. (and I'm actually OK with that 🙂 )

If it is on, you should be able to force a sync from that screen the same way you can force a sync on the gmail account.

If not, try turning sync off, then on. The off->on transition SHOULD trigger a forced update.

If you are using POP email, go into the account settings and set "delete email from server" to "when I delete from inbox" (defaults to "never"), might give you the behavior you are looking for. Otherwise, it will never delete from the server.
