Love the phone...but: any solutions for the following?

1. Anyway to go back to lock screen without having to hit top button?
2. Why does the screen stay on when charging; no screen saving?
3. If phone ringing is on silence or vibrate, you can not have notifications/messaging on vibrate or sound
4. Anyone having trouble with MMS/photo attached messages...they remain in pending status
5. can send .vcf attachement (contact information), but phone cannot open file...any ideas?
6. If you touchscreen silence phone (counterclockwise) and then turn back on...phone remains in silence status
7. when starting a message from messaging (as opposed to from contact, you cannot tap in contact info, you need to start typing...is that correct?
8. any ideas about individually assigned sounds/mp3s fo...

Why does the screen stay on when charging; no screen saving?

Just tap the power/sleep button as you do to "wake" the phone and it will shut the screen off.

I found another way.
Menu, settings, applications, development, stay awake.

5. You can send contacts just go to the contact press on the screen for 3 second then the send option will come up. Question 7 is answered by tapping the contact from the list of contacts.
8. you have to create a Ringtone folder and a notification folder. Or use Ringdroid once then once the folder are created move your MP3 to the folders. I just copied the same ringtones in my notification and ringtones.
For opening files you need to get from Andriod Market get the document to go application the free one will work fine

5. holding for 3 secs reveals: view, call, text, add to favorites, edit and delete contact...there is no send option
If you tap and release contact, the contact opens, then press menu revealing email or gmail...there is no txt'ing option

5. copy the vcf file to your Droid's sd card, and then try importing it from the contact menu.

the vcf file comes as an attachment...only option is to open which it cannot...how to transfer to card if you cannot by dragging or tapping?

there is a save mms app (I believe)

Or you could drag and drop it from your computer into the SD card.
