Samsung Jack Vibration Glitch?

by GMFWDFAN    Aug 3, 2009, 11:22 AM

On July 31st, I upgraded to a Samsung Jack. The next day, I began having issues with it getting stuck on vibrate. I would get a text message and it would play the text tone and vibrate, as I have it set to do, but instead of stopping the vibration once the tone ended, it would just continue to vibrate. And it wouldn't stop until I got to it and pressed the end key. I figured it was just a random occurence, but it did it again...twice. In fact, I got a text message once and didn't get to the phone for around fifteen minutes. It vibrated the whole time, running down a good chunk of the battery.

So, I exchanged it for another Jack. This one seemed okay, but the same day I got it, it did the vibrating thing as well. And so far it's done it three times. Is this a common Jack glitch or what? I find it hard to believe that two seperate phones would have the same exact issue without it being a widespread problem.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to exchange the Jack for a BlackBerry Bold and just pay the price difference...there's no point in having a brand new phone with this kind of problem, especially when my old Blackjack 2 was pretty much flawless.
