well I do know that there are voip programs that would work great over the wifi conection and about the txts well you can always attach your cell number to your email acount and you can then txt most phones that way you jsut have to have the person cell number and the carrier tag as the contact information. But if your talking about like AIM or yahoo messenger there are alot of programs that handle that very well also.
