Alternative to PDANet

I must first and foremost say PDANet is a great app...I simply can't justify spending 35 dollars when all it does is register to the phone...

Now I own HTC products, and just like PCs, they need the occasional rehash, or FORMAT if you will to start anew...that means it's 35 bucks every time I need to do this to get my PDA net to keep working...

So, anyone know how to get around this or a way to exploit the phone's net to my laptop for free without paying sprint or pdanet any more money than I already do?

PDANet got their 35 and won't register to my new phone...(insurance upgraded me from mogul, that piece of dog crap, to the touch pro, HUZZAH!) and they won't match it up, so screw them.

Sprint wants like 80 a month to provide pho...

For 25 bucks turn your phone into a hot spot that up to 5 devices can connect to. Found out about it through a guy from best buy when I was buying my HTC Touch Pro. Def worth the money to have free wifi, as long as you have unlimited data like myself of course. Installation was incredibly easy too.
