To whomever reads this - first and foremost I apologize for my ignorance on the subject. I expect many of you already know the answers to these questions but I unfortunately have fallen out of the tech knowledge realm in my 'old age'.

I've tried searches for these answers but clearly didn't find what I needed. I simply don't have much free time to continue searching and so hopefully someone will post the answers here or at least direct me with a link, etc.

I truly APPRECIATE any and all positive responses and assistance.

This is most helpful so far. Thank you.

I will try the Audacity download and attempt to email myself some audio clips.

Are you charged for each email you send yourself? This may limit how many songs I send myself! I currently have an unlimited texting package but I have no idea if emails are included in that.

A quick call to 611 (800-922-0204 from a landline) or a visit to your local VZW store, can provide all of the details regarding messaging costs from a trained representative.

Just don't discuss "ringtones".
