can you use 'my sounds' as ringtones?
i transferred some songs from my computer and want to use them as ringtones.. can i do that?

im pretty sure u need to send them to urself after u put them on ur phone.
start up a new picture message and send a message to urself with that sound clip.. and wen u recieve it ull be able to set it as a ringtone.

The microUSB cable option works fine. You can drag ansd drop files using Windows Explorer on a PC.

Great tip! I was able to transfer the ring tones from my old phone to the new phone.
My old ring tones are not on this phone. I could not find my old ring tones on the Verizon site. I actually would have paid money to get them so I didn't have to learn new tones?!?
Recorded the tones from the old phone to the new phone. Sent the recording to my new phone as a pic message. Saved the sound in the message as a ring tone. Worked for me!
