Sanyo Katana DLX

I have this phone and for some reason all of a sudden all picture mail i recieve it doesn't save it to MICRO SD Card it saves it in My Content - My pictures folder. I tried several times but it wont go over 50 pictures even though its "AUTO SAVE" to SD CARD. The SD card is for 1GB... took it to Sprint techs and can't figure out why? however tech support says its not the phone its just the way the phone is ?
Any ideas ?
