Music file transfers from laptop to phone via Bluetooth

I was successful in tranferring video and music files from my Razr2 to my laptop via Bluetooth but can you transfer music files to the phone from a laptop via Bluetooth. I was not successful in that.

were you able to use and set them as ringtones or were you just able to listen to them on your phone?
