currently have the katana II and the speaker phone is what other sanyo's have been...inadequate. when talking on it, no background noise, nothing, I'll be clear, but then have to repeat a phrase, o, 4 times. that is one thing that I'm annoyed about, but the other parts of the phone make up for it somewhat; never had the 6600, hated it's design. that's what made me grab the 2 when it came out.
