New I Phone ?
As I debate buying a I phone, I hear from people I talk to that they are comming out with a new model or updated one, I can not belive this already cause they just came out with this version, But you never know, That is why I am posting this has anybody heard of a second or new version comming out soon or at all?

I would hope so....alot of people say to wait. I was in your shoes too. I decided to break down and get one now. Only because alot of the upgrades can be done by software. The ones that can't are 3g support that is rumored to be in the new one and more memory(i felt 8gbs was plenty for my usage). Gps is also rumored to be in 2nd one but again the new on isn't to be introduced until first quarter of next year. How patient are you? Can you wait that long? I couldn't.....

I guess it really does not matter. Cause if the 2nd gen offering is like the first, you will have to pay full price for the phone anyway. So someone buying the phone like you said would have to decide if they want to take the chance, As you said if most the upgrades are through software or firmware that you can update through I tunes via computer no problem. But their are some upgrades I would like to see, like a removable battery, and removable media. But I guess we will have to wait and see.

I am still waiting, I am debating about the iphone or the bb curve, I am glad I am waiting the price is coming down. and Motorola is supposed to be coming out with a new q9h. I am defenantly going to get a smart phone by the end of this month.
I do not know why everybody is bitching, when most new phones and technology comes out they are over priced, when the razor first came out they were over 400 bucks, now you can get them for 40 or 50 bucks with a two year agreement, and when plasma televisions first came out they were 5 to 10 grand now you can buy a 50 inch screen for 1800 bucks, should I ask the tv manufacture for a refund?

Yes But a few things, it is the end of the year soon the holidays are going to be here, lower the price, sell more presents, secondly lower the price, sell more anyway, third it is apple and good business, lower the price and sell out of your stock and come out with a new model, people are crying it don't have enough memory, and they discontinued the 4 gig model, my bet is they come out with a 16 gig one and a few upgrades. fourthly this is technology, every couple months there is something new anyway, I bought the ipod photo last year & then they came out with the video, I bought a playstation 2 then they came out with ps3, I know it is tough to keep up with the jones I just bought a plasma tv after waiting a long time spent 2500 bucks, now...

This article should help. the 10 million projected iphone sold is total around the world. and the asian market is huge. but they won't sell a phone that isn't capable of their majority network, which is still getting better and better.

apparently, due to the price drop and the 16 gig iPod Touch, people have speculated that the iPhone will release a 16 gig model for $599 before christmas.
It's all speculation, of course. I like the current one, and the price is right, but I like have 80 gigs of entertainment in my pocket instead.

My intuiton tells me Jobs will wait a year before he pumps out a new iphone. Why not keep working with what you got for awhile? I just feel that a release of a new phone in the next 6 months is way to soon.
