It is 10% but it is still a first for the industry. ATT doesn't charge it for any other phone they sell. No other carrier charges it for any phne they sell. ATT advertises their 30 day return in banner headlines on their site and only in the fine print buried deep down in the iphone information do they mention the 14 days on that one. You must admit that both are a little shoddy. I don't blame ATT as much as APPLE for this. It's not their decision. It's the price you pay when you give away your company to one of your vendors.

You're right.. the restocking fee is an Apple thing.. they charge a restocking fee at thier stores... Best Buy also does for certain items.. and I am sure other retailers do also..

1. Apple is controlling the deployment not ATT and therefore Apple had some decissions to make on how they handle it.
2. Apple has decided on the restocking fee not ATT.
3. Apple is treating this as another iPod.
4. ATT is only providing the Network not providing the phones.
