Samsung SCH-U540

SCH-u540 reception and call quality

How is the reception, call quality, and sound on the u-540 compared to an LG Vx8300 or other comparable phones with the same features? I can't decide between these 2 phones, but I'm leaning towards the u-540 because its slimmer. Any feedback would be appreciated 😁

Hi: I had the VX8300 and enjoy the U540 a lot better. I find the sound quality better. I had a lot of problems with the bluetooth which I use frequently, with the VX8300. None with the U540. It is definately lighter and I like it without the knob antenna. I didn't use the VX8300 very long. I find the U540 superior.

Sweet. Thanks waltermax. I really like LG's they're great phones, but every one I've had has been too loud and so-so reception, and sound quality and good RF is the most important thing to me in a cell phone. I'm anxious to try out the U540 🙂
