WHY??!?!??!?!?!

đŸ‘ŋ

Why in the name of god would you bother to release a phone without Bluetooth? Top of the line everything else and no Bluetooth? It makes no sense at all. Who is advising these phone manaufacturers? I just can't uderstand why any of them even bother to release a phone without high speed data, bluetooth and a speaker phone.

Bluetooth

Does anyone know of a way to add bluetooth to a phone? My friend has a nextel I860 and was told by a rep that all he would have to do is download the app. Is this possible for the zx10? đŸ‘ŋ

No Video Calling = bad 3g

I dont get why Cingular has decieded not to implement the video calling feature at initial launch. Its a 3g feature that should not be left out. specially since verizon is already pushing their V-Cast(video-on-demand) service so much. it would be nice to see cingular push something that nobody else is(or can in the U.S at this time) offering.

Just my thoughts

Cingular launch

Cingular is launching this on March 6. The suggested pricing is $99.99 on 2 year, $149.99 on 1 year and $199.99 no commitment. the contract prices are after $50.00 mail in rebate.

maybe i just want it all but....

why not a 3g phone with ptt....just seems like this should be...it couldn't be that difficult to put all that into one phone could it? And yes...say all you want with they have to come out with the "entry level" or basic ones first...just like the first ptt phones are boring w/ no camera or nothing....cingular to appeal to the masses come out with the full package phones, 3g, ptt, mp3, megapixel camera...and then add some basic phones for those who want them.......again just my opinion 😉

Not impressed

Why doesn't Cingular want a version of the Vodafone HSDPA model that was being displayed along with the Zx10 and 20? That phone was much nicer then the dumbed down models for the US.

Why does this phone have an antenna?

So, both UMTS phones that Cingular released today have antennas.

Does this mean these phones NEED them, or are patch antennas still going to be fine with UMTS as they were with GSM? I know most VZW phones have antennas and it sucks.

I wouldn't think that it would matter as the bands are still the same, but does the air interface require it for some reason?

W810 Does anybody know if this phone will be branded

I was wondering if this phone will be branded by a carrier and if so who? Or will we have to buy it through retail stores?
Does anybody know if the camera has same features as the W800??
I have the W800 but reception isn't good since it doesn't have the 850 band. But love everything else on the phone. Just wondering if the W810 will have some of the same camera features??? Thanks Rox

Samsung Innovation?? 5MP phone by 2006??

CES 2005 sparked the unveiling of the SPH-A800, the US's first 2MP cameraphone.

Where is the innovation this year? Already released Samsung SPH-A900/SGH-T809? A Cingular look-alike (D807). Is the biggest announcement they have a WiFi phone for T-Mobile with no Bluetooth/QVGA? What is this?

I doubt that the yet to be reviewed A930 will be anything more than a Verizon A900 with MicroSD.

Where is the 5MP that Samsung promised by years end 05'? Now THERE'S a question to ask the floor reps Rich....

All in all, this years CES, for Samsung, did not spark the same excitement of 2005. None of these "SLIM" phones make me want to dump my year old now MM-A800- in fact, they really make me realize that 2005 just *might* have been the year o...
