Please Help!!!

Does anyone know where I can get the screw driver that would fit for the screws on sanyo phones? it is a very weird pne. It has only 3 edges as im sure you can all see if you flip your phone over.

I have another sanyo that i do not use anymore and i want to see if it is possible to change out the key lights. I hate that green color. Please let me know

mobile phone management tool from COMPUSA store

Just want to share it with you. I purchase a mobile phone management tool from one of the COMPUSA stores, the package looks great (just like one of Sony's software package), and the price is reasonable (compare to other similar products in the market). The package includes 1 data cable and 1 software CD, the software really surprises me! It can turn my phone to MP3 ringtone (any ringtone I like, with excellent quality!), and the software includes more than hundreds pictures and ringtone!
Just want to let you know that I like this small tool very much. If you own a multimedia cellular phone, you really do not want to miss this nice product! 😁

I could be wrong, but it makes sense... MM!!

OK I could be totally wrong so I dont want to get totally bashed, but the 8000 series are more of the basic phone they have, like a middle level, it's not supposed to be fantasy or anything like that... They added MM... That is all they really need to do, cause people never bought this phone for the camera, they just wanted a good smaller sized phone with some bells and whistles, now they added them... I work for bestbuy and that is what all my customers bought the 8200 for... THey didn't want the cheat Samsung 660 or Sanyo 200 or Sanyo 2300... They wanted something with a big outside display. Is it disappointing they didnt add megapixel or video or anything, for the people that like the phones like the 7400 or 5600 the high end phones, YES!...

speed dials?

☚ī¸

does this phone only have 8 speed dials? I just got it and have not been able to play with it a lot.

Im a big speed dial person and this phone appears to only have 8 speed dial spots!!!! Most phones have 99.

Is this true?

it would be ok if you didn't have to pay for voice dialing. I still can't believe that they charge for voice dialing. what a crock!

i see some people saying you can't download cool ringers to this phone. is that true?

Just got the phone and wondering...

Ok, I got this phone today. My last phone had a USB cable that I could use to transfer pictures, music, calendar events, and phone numbers to and from my computer. Is this available for this phone? The guy at the store said I could email from the site, but is there an easier way?

IE on the Sanyo MM-8300

Many of the sites that worked on my old, free, outdated Nokia come up terribly on my new, expensive Sanyo, most notably Yahoo mail. I have been 'round & 'round with trying to upgrade IE, "return to the version of Yahoo supported by my current IE version," etc., but it's one big, ineffective circle of doom. How do I update IE on this phone so the sites work properly? Thanks for any suggestions!

Buy MM-8300 or Stay with PM-8200??

I got the PM-8200 for free through a promotion...and I personally hate the reception...I read all these reviews about how great the reception is for the 8200...but I personally know it sucks...I will have 2 out of 4 bars on a major highway...my dad who has the VM-4500 has 4 bars...why this is in the MM-8300 forum is because I want the MM-8300....but I have 2 questions...DOES the MM-8300 have a green or blue keypad? the 8200 has green and I think its ugly verses the VM-4500's blue keypad...and the second question is should I just keep the free 8200 which I hate most of it...or should I go with the MM-8300?

P.S. I dont care about spending 150+ on the 8300 as long as someone thinks its a phone worth doing that for...and please no replies re...

how do I turn off the 'settings have changed' sound?

Whenever I change a setting and hit 'ok' it makes this retarded noise confirming the change...how do I turn that off? I've messed with virtually every sound volume/type option on here.
Thanks in advance

Example:

Ringer Volume -- set to 'one beep' -- hit OK -- makes retarded sound.

Anyone want to buy my 8300?? Brand new

I just got this phone about 2 hours ago. Its really nice I just didn't expect the screen to be smaller than the 7400 but I wanted a smaller phone. (Didn't work out) I'm going back to my 7400. If anyone wants it it is the blue version. I made like 3 phone calls on it. I will sell it for $270.00 ---- please email me if interested

Sanyo MM-8300 or Samsung MM-A880?

I am going to get one of these two phones. Any suggestion which is better? I like the MM-8300 30 sec video, ready link, and lighter weight. I like the A880's 256k color (compared to 65k) , video screen saver, and Pictbridge capablites.
Does anyone know what the difference is between a VGA digital camera and a megapixel digital camera is? Any other pros and cons?

ReadyLink Tones?

I was reading a thread at SPU that said that when you are choosing tones for the RL there is an option for download. Can anyone confirm this? Can someone tell me if the phone accepts downloaded tones for RL Floor tones? TIA
