Alcatel 3V (2019)

I have an Alcatel 3v that I purchased back in July it's a great phone and it does everything except that I cannot receive any alerts or notifications from any third-party apps from Google play. This is puzzling to me because I can receive my gmails and emails, text messaging and phone calls just fine. I've tried everything from tweaking the notification settings battery optimizations and even the phone reset and to no avail I cannot still receive notifications from Google play apps. I've tried several of the same type of apps where you have to set a particular time each day to get a notification and nothing. Any ideas?

I've owned many Alcatel phone and after the disastrous Alcatel 7, this 3V is superior in every way. The battery is very good. Screen quality is very HD. The UI is fast and the Mediatek processor works very well. No lag or crashing noticed. I'm very happy with this phone.

Dec 14 I started using this phone, it replaced a ZTE promax. It's fast, charges fast, easy to use. Was hesitant because I heard this brand wasn't high quality. Well I guess they stepped it up. Graphics are good. I use an old fashioned ringtone and it's fine. Overall, it's a pretty good surprise.
