LG VX-7000

Is it possible to have animated things as your wallpaper without needing a cable or anything? Can you have your video clips be wallpapers? or screensavers or anything...

😕 Ok, have a few questions: First, I just switched from the 6000 to the 7000. I love it, but I realized I have a few important pictures, etc on my old phone. I keep looking at USB data cables on EBAY, and other places... I don't know which ones are going to work without breaking my phone and which are just crap. I would like the ability to add and remove stuff on the phone, and supposedly the USB cable can do just that. Also, I am looking for the extended battery, but don't wanna spend a small fortune.. Any ideas where I can go? Any help with both subjects is GREATLY appreciated.

Has anyone else experienced a delay when answering an incoming phone call on the VX7000. For example when you open the phone to answer and find yourself saying "hello" a couple of times before the person on the other line is there... Really annoying!!!

Do I have a defective phone? Are all the VX7000's like this? Is there a software fix? Can it be fixed?

Thinking of buying a 7000 or waiting for the 8000 my friend has a 7000 and its amazing but Im really intrested in the bluetooth headset I had a jabbra bluetooth which I hated but my friends with the actual real bluetooth headset it works fine I also found this link http://www.umts-terror.de/cebit2001.html showing the lg bluetooth headset design Ive seeen it in other places as well can anyone confirm that there is such a headset and even if its asian market would it work here in the US?

Is it possible or is there a mode that makes the lights above the outer screen not blink when somebody calls. I have to put the phone on vibrate for classes, but if i do get a call and it starts flashing its light that would be pretty distracting I think. Is there a way to have them not blink?

This LG VX-7000 (6000 does not support those formats) does support for jpeg and gif formats for custom graphics. My sister has Samsung A670 and I thought Samsung was good about LCD and Sungsung phones always have JPEG AND GIF formats. But when I sent one animated pic to her phone, it did not work as well as my phone (LG)

when you take a picture with the phone closed, can you see what your going to take a picture of on the outer display screen?

Also, is it possible to download mp3's and play them as your ringtones?

So my 7000 started glitching and i went to verizon and they gave me a new one. If i wanted to switch phone without paying full retail could i do that now, becuase of the 15 day period thing?

I was reading the manual the other day and I notice on page 43 in the manual under contacts it says that "When you access your Contacts, the number in parenthesis represents the number of entries you have stored"...so I tried that with my phone and there were no parenthesis anybody has thesame issue as I do? Or is the manual just off again?

Hey, i'm looking at getting this phone, of the verizon wireless internet store its $179 after two year contract etc., i just wanted to know if you can get this other places like circuit city etc. ?

Is there a way to zoom or control the settings of the pic while taking it with the phone closed?

I was able to get my images in the phone. If somebody else had any experience with this software, can you also tell me what else I can do with it?
I would love to do the following:
1. Set default schedule alarm sound to something else, other than default ring
2. Add different vibrate signal to differentiate between incoming phone calls and schedule alarms
3. View current time while talking on the phone.

I understand that it might be software limitations for all of this, but some people found some answers...

Quick question for everyone. I'd like to get the Verizon Wireless text off of the front LCD on this phone. There is an option in danners under display to change the front LCD, but it doesn't seem to work. Does any know how or if that text can be changed.

Well I was stupid and rushed into buying this phone. I heard some say it was gonna be better than the v710 but, it's not. (at least in my opinion) So basically i want to switch to the v710 but without having to pay the full retail price. Is there anyway way of doing this? Anything suggestions are appreciated.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get rid of the "Verizon Wireless" banner off the front LCD of the 7000? Also, is it possible to make the time smaller? It makes it hard to see the picture on the screen. I've had my 7000 for 2 days now and this and the bigger size are the only things I've found to be a problem with the phone!

Is there any way to get ringtones onto a v710 for free and without a usb cable.
If there is no way like that than what program would you have to use to get the ringtone onto the phone with the usb cable.
I'm talking about the real music ringotnes.

I want to download a game just so i have something. Any suggestions?

There's games like frogger, solitaire, NFL 2005, etc. Any good baseball or football games? Frogger or tetris seems like good ones that won't make me pound the keys too bad. I'm sure if i get pacman i'll be rough on it so i'm staying away from that one.

Does anyone know if you can transfer games with the usb cable?? 😳

Hey Steven-JD, on Ebay someone sells it for $2-4 bucks if you know how to install it. If not, you might check some stores in mall that is near your house. I think they might have it. I will get new faceplate for my phone too, as soon as I get to mall the next time.
