r there different faceplates for this phone? and also i was reading about the contacts..so basically there is no way to just have them alphabetized? each contact must have a speed dial number?

No...you can categorize the contacts alpha-order, by speed dial number or group (i.e. family, friends, etc.)

It's a great little phone...I've had it for 2 weeks now and have found it the best phone I've used since my v60i...the only drawback I've found is no speakerphone and no analog...not that I ever use analog in my area, but it's a nice extra if I did need it...

ya i like the phone too just from what im reading about it...its just that i dont know if i like the color bc it looks like its really dark...and also i looked for faceplates but i didnt find any.

The outer color of the phone is actually silver...like aluminum..it's not dark at all! The photos don't do this phone justice...go into VZW and check it out....
