I'm

Tired of waiting. I have a Thunderbolt and it's rooted. I would not mind adding a Rom to it but none are available for 4.0 or above. GRRRRR

No ICS 4.0 Love for the HTC EVO 4G...

☚ī¸ Damn. Guess that's how manufacturers force the hand if the consumer into an upgrade eventhough the hardware can more than handle it..

What about Droid 3??

Typical Verizon behavior, update the newest phones, and an odd mix of older phones...
This lack of support for EVERY phone that should get this update, and your bloatware apps that you try to push on us, is the reason that people (not me...yet) root their phones.

Said it before and I'll say it again...

Glad I bought the dev device 🙄 No more of this B.S. It's freakin March and still only the Nexus devices have ICS. If you want timely updates people, BUY THE DEV DEVICE!!! "Later this year" 🙄 🙄 🙄

HTC vs.

I am a Nokia phone person but HTC from Taiwan has come well into its own in the U.S. market since smart-phones have infiltrated the scene. I have an HTC Ozone and I am more than pleased with it. It's a matter of choice and taste. Shame Nokia's presence has not diversified itself more in the U.S. They were phenomenal when more basic phones were predominant. User-friendly, durable. Hopefully they come out with more smart-phones as well.

Had a big problem with two of these.

Got one right before Christmas for the wife. Her first smartphone and was hesitant to activate it. It sat around home on the dock and was always connected to my home wireless network. 10 days into our 14 days to try it we activated the phone. 3g internet access no problem, wireless access fail. Told by VZ problem with the internals. Makes no sense but I let them send another one. Same problem, would not go to the internet even though it said it was connected to my network. VZ got HTC technical on the phone and there have been similar reports to mine. I was asked to send back to factory. No thanks, sent back to Amazon and gave up on the model.

Compare to the Incredible 2

Can anyone who has had hands on experience with this phone and the HTC Droid Incredible 2 give a comparison? For the same price, is there really much advantage to the Rhyme (other than the color, if you happen to like that), or would most customers be better off with an Incredible 2 and a purple case?

If only this would have a physical keyboard....

I would love HTC to release a phone for VZW with a physical keyboard!

Come on!

Dear HTC, come on! Is that all you can do for Verizon Wireless?

I will not complain on the Screen size, although I would rather take a 4.0" LCD (4.3" is too large IMO), but:

- No physical keyboard?
- No great camera like T-Mobile MySlide?
- No special speakers like one of your recent phones..?

Nothing Special..!

I am awaiting something with all of the above.!
