New Blackberry Pearl Soon????

Hi everyone:

Need a little help. Has anyone heard of a new upcoming Blackberry Flip phone? Currently, I am w/Verizon and viewed the Blackberry Pearl Flip 8230, but really do not want to invest in a new two year contract with the current Verizon offering. As you know, it's a little dated. I heard from "somewhere?" that Blackberry is aware of the niche user concerning the flip phone. Yet, does not have as many updates or offerings as compared to their other phones. Is there a new updated version of their Pearl flip coming out soon??? Hoping for world phoning/messaging capability, better camera, and updated OS.

Thank you for any information you can provide.

Take Care!

time/date won't change for VZW 8230 - HELP??

I've changed the date time on my BB pearl flip 5x and can't get it to change. Right now, it's showing 3 days earlier (today is Aug 6th) and it's showing Aug 3rd. Plus the time is off by 4 hours.

I've tried changing the date time from Blackberry to Network (and back). It saves everytime I do it, but doesn't change on the device.

I am tied to a BES server if that makes a difference.

Anyone HELP???? 🤭

8230 a little loose.

Is the 8230 flip suppose to be a little loose? Or can you tighten it?

Two Questions...

1. Is there any way to set the answer mode to "any key"? Right now the only setting I can establish is the default "open flip".

2. Is there any way to disable the sure type? 👀

Can this be activated on Sprint?

If so, how and will all the features work?

Battery Life Question

Realistically, with normal use and not constantly on the internet, how many minutes of talk time and standby time should you get with this phone? Or, does this phone use up battery by constantly searching for an internet signal even though you are not? Thank you.
