Has anyone heard anything about the quickfire that ATT has on their website?

Any info would be great reguarding the upgrades that I was told about are valid. Per an ATT agent through chat all issues that caused the recall have been resolved. If you have heard differently or you have purchased one let me know.

quickfire vs. sidekick

it seems to me that no one has their ideas anymore. at&t realizes that the sidekick is one of t-mobiles top sellers. They have the iphone, why do they need to copy other phones from other carriers like the quickfire.

The touch screen is good...?? Seriously???

I work at an AT&T store and I can honestly say I hate this phone. Give me an Eternity over this piece of junk anyday.

The touch screen is INCREDIBLY unresponsive on the edges of the phone which is especially annoying when trying to go back on it. We actually warrantied the first one we had as a demo because we thought that it was defective, only to find out it was the phone model.

Is there really anyone who bought this phone and is happy with it?

Sidekick anyone?

looks like PCD decided to clone the sidekick slide, throw a touch screen on it, and migrate away from the tmobile exclusive. all in all, this phone blows. nothing new, nothing cool, nothing flashy. its weak, in every aspect of the word. i dont usually strictly bash on phones, but this phone pisses me off. it could also be my loathing of the sidekick series bleeding through

toughscreen

I have noticed that the touchscreen of the quickfire seems to lag. I know that if I were using the phone I would be irritated when I pushed a menu option and had to wait for it to think about opening... For a touchscreen device, which will be compared to the iphone, if not only because At&t sells both of them the quickfire falls short. It also is a brick of a phone. The phone itself is weighty WITHOUT the battery in it!

New user needs help - ringtones

I'm a complete novice with any phone other than a Motorola KRZR. I can create my own ringtones, but I can't get them onto my new Quickfire. I can't download files to the phone via bluetooth or get the phone to find my ringtones on my SD card (they're on the card as both .wav and .mp3, but the phone shows my SD card as empty).

Can someone help?

3 hour talk time???

Seriously??? What dunce engineered this piece of junk? Furthermore, who is dumb enough to buy a messaging phone with 3 hours of useful battery life? This thing won't last a day.

And it's already a brick.
