Music Ringtones

Does anyone know how to use the songs you have on the music player as ringtones on the i9? Or if you can do this at all?

i9-deleting text & no download apps

when the phn is power cycled all texts are deleted-i did a master reset, power cycle, sent another text, than power cycled again and text was gone.
also the download apps option is not there.
i have had 3 i9's and 2 of them have these problems.

Multiple Phone Lines

I have the i9 that was delivered today. I haven't activated yet. The owner's manual says this phone supports 2 phone lines, but doesn't go into any setup details. Anyone else know about this feature and use it? I currently have 2 Sprint phones. One for work and my personal one. It would be great to integrate both devices into one.

It seems...

...as if the i9 holds up well if we're just talking about the phone itself, aside from the problems with the camera that the reviewer mentioned. All the other problems that the reviewer had - lousy call quality, hit-and-miss reception, horribly slow web browsing, etc. - come directly from the iDEN network, and is the same no matter what iDEN-only phone you look at.

I personally cannot wait until Sprint shuts down iDEN for good. I will say GOOD RIDDANCE. 😈

i hope you have man hands

as sleek as this phone is for iden it is huge. think of the razr 2 and a little thicker and just bigger overall. very nice phone just not for those with dainty hands.

The Motorola Stature i9 launchs this Sunday. I already have been test driving the handset for about a month and have to say for an iDEN handset, it is actually pretty nice.

jtalker1965 - i9

Motorola has come out with a touch screen! It is with Verizon and it is the Krave. A buddy of mine has it and it is cool with a clear flip. A touch screen phone with a flip to end calls, what a combination of a cool phone. They should come out with the Krave with the 2-way for Sprint/Nextel and Boost. That would be a cool phone!

Motorola just doesn't get it

When are they ever going to come out with a real touch screen like the Dare and others? That's what people are looking for.

Love it, guys ...

... but when can we expect an in-depth review? Do you have to wait until it's officially released by the carrier, or is that a production version you've got there? Seems like it's a finished unit (branded and all).

Also, is the DC button LED flashing at the beginning because of the missed DC call that's shown at the beginning of the demo?

A request for a future video tour of this device: can we see the DC feature in action? That is, after all, the primary function of an iDEN device. Would love to see how some of the PTX functions (push to send event, etc.) work.
