Converting AT&T Centro to T-Mobile

I've unlocked my Palm Centro from AT&T and am now on T-Mobile. The phone portion works great but everything else doesn't operate anymore. Has anyone created a procedure for setting up SMS, MMS, Blazer Internet, and eMail for the T-Mobile network?

Umm, $49.00 for an AT&T data plan, or $15 with Sprint?

AT&T really needs to stop selling PDA's. They charge more then any other carrier for PDA data access. Their network is a patchwork of rural roaming agreements and slow EDGE. Does anyone here really waste money with AT&T?
So let's see, $49.99, with limited roaming, slow data speeds, costly third-party services, cap limits on data. Or $15 with Sprint that includes, free Verizon & Alltel data roaming, no cap limits, full, lest costly TV and radio services.

I just don't see why anyone would waste the money on AT&T. Unless they have Paris Hilton money to throw away.

I know I sound bias, and I am. Just a complete waste of money. I understand why PDA users use Verizon PDA's, but AT&T?

Doing Research

Our company is looking at getting my group a smart phone. Can the Palm access and use programs like Microsoft Excel and the like? Needing to find out as soon as I can. Thanks

Communication Event Log???

My Nokia phones have a feature called the communication event log that lists all calls, both incoming and outgoing, as well as text messages and data transfers. This log is seperate from the call history or text history, so deleting an entry from either list would not affect the communication event log. I am wondering if there is such a feature on the Centro???

Voicemail indiicator

I bought my daughter the Centro and the voice mail indicator always has a 1 next to it. No matter how many voice mails she has. Is this normal? Or is it possible that the "1" stands for the number to press to get voice mail?

Does anyone know of an easier way to take out the sim card?

I work at a phone store and this card is IMPOSSIBLE to take out. Removing the stylus helps but it's still a huge pain...it's embarrassing. 🤭

The Product of a drunken one night stand

This phone appears to be the product of a drunken one night stand between the palm rep and the firefly rep. What a piece of crap! I recieved one just a few days ago for my store and we put it on the charger and it just started rebooting over and over on its own. Ill never sell it because im selling my customer a return.

Why bother?

This PDA is about as exciting as Motorola relaunching the DPC 550.

Alternative Web Browser?

A friend of mine picked up the AT&T Centro the day it came out. I am contemplating getting one as well. We were wondering, does one have no choice but to use the included Blazer web browser, or are there other third-party browsers, e.g. Opera Mini, that can be downloaded and installed on the Centro?
