Red Super Slice

Got this phone because the battery is supposed to be so good. I only get 2 days max from it. THey have sent me new battery, new phone, new charger w/no luck. It is supposed to last 9 days on standby and I might use it 10 minutes a week.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a setting someplace causing the battery to drain? It's the red one if that makes a difference. I have tried the take out the battery and then replace it trick, but that did not work.

People its a UTStarcom

"nuff said" I'm waiting for it to come out for MetroPCS I am a dealer and i've recieved the promotional info and the dummy phone. It looks like a cheaply made SLVR to me and the SLVR is already cheaply made.

Voyager at CTIA

Are you going to post any new info about the LG Voyager VX10000?
People are wanting to know some specs of the phone, such as H, W, D, weight, battery mAh, display size, etc.

Sprint LG Rumor

Wow, Im looking forward to this. I plan to get it for my birthday. I was wondering if anyone had it yet? I was just wondering if you could post anything that is extra nice about the phone. And also, are you guys at PhoneScoop.com going to do a reveiw on the phone? But it does look like a solid texting phone and thats why I look forward to getting it.

Which Carrier?

Does anyone know if this phone will be picked up by a carrier? If not do you know how much it will cost and if it will work on the AT&T/Cingular network?

Thanks, Berry Frankin Craig IV 🙂

CTIA came late this year

remember, CTIA came so late this year that carriers could really announce any of their holiday hotness. they wanted to tease you back in the beginning of october, not at that end of it. so it's true, there weren't really any jaw dropping phones announced here, but there have already been some, and were told that there will be some more later in the holiday season and then through CES in January.

maybe next year

Maybe next year we can hope to see some phones that make us want spend money.

i would love to see some hones that are distinguished from the pack, phones that have innovative and worthwhile features.

First Impressions with the Super Slice

I've only had it a day, so I'll wait to post an actual review. But some info for those interested:

1. It uses a mini-USB plug for the charger. It's located on the right side of the phone. I was able to locate a windows XP driver for the phone, but thus far haven't been able to get anything to actually see it, other than windows itself.

2. The screen is aweful. My old Kyocera Slider (which is probably 5 years old now) looks a lot better.

3. The ringer/speaker is located on the back side. Seems like a decent spot, until you set the phone down. Because the back of the phone is so flat, the speaker volume is muted to roughly 25%.

4. The Contacts list is annoying, you can only view 3 names at a time.

5. Call quality is surprisi...

Eagerly Awaiting

It's about time Virgin Mobile comes out with a bluetooth phone, and including a camera is great. I own the 'Slice' currently and have been using it for almost a year now with no problems. The 'Super Slice' hopefully will WOW most users. The Java games play great, the internet is quick enough, and now with bluetooth and a camera... fantastic!
