Ok, so I'm late to the game here. I'm looking to replace my phone (SE w810i) with a newer model and not break the bank. Currently looking at both of these phones but can't figure out what the difference is. What am I gaining with the walkman software on the w610? Just wondering.
I got this phone as a gift for someone, and wnted to get a M2 stck, but the specs say it only supports up to 1 GB. My SOny Digital camera also claimed it only supported Memory Stick PRO Duo cards up to 2GB, but I popped a 4 GB one in it and it worked fine. Was curious if anyone tried a stick higher than 1GB in this phone before I waste money on a stick that wont work in the phone.
Ok guys, I'm in the market for a new SE handset. I've heard good and bad about the w810 but not enough about the w610. So please, help me out. I need a reliable phone with a very good music player and decent camera.
Has anyone had any issues with the camera on the K550? Any picture taken using the light is tinted very heavily toward green, really green. Outdoors appears fine, but most indoors shots and particularly those using the light are tinted green. I have tried every combination of settings I can imagine. I spoke with SE and got no help there. Could the camera be defective? Anyone else with this issue?
I have the Sony Ericsson K550i. I have seen various videos and numerous fourms pretaining to the fact that you can get the W610 firmware added to your K550i to give it all of the walkman features. I have gotten some suggestions on how to do it but I've tried all the suggestions and still just cant get it to work. If someone knows how to or has heard of this please let me know. Thanks
This phone is just ok for me. The only obvious improvements over the w810i are the form factor and stereo bluetooth (A2DP). I'd rather wait until a 3G SE is available that will work in the states before I scrap my w810i. I don't think we (Cingular) are going to carry this one. It almost looks like it's targeted @ T-Mobile.
