How is it different?

Is there a difference in the programming between the Slice, and the Slice Special Edition?

I know the color is different, and the SE is lighter but heavier...just wondering if any of the features are different?

If there's no spectacular difference Im just going to save my money and go with the Marbl.

File Transfer? Downloads?

Hey, I have read in many other forums that it is nearly impossible to put files on the Slice because Virgin Mobile locked the phone from being able to do that. Virgin Mobile also locked the phone from being able to download ring tones from other sites such as funformobile.com. Does anybody have the passwords to unlock these features or does anybody even know if there is a way around this? Thanks.

A real looker....BUT

I got this phone for a steal on Black Friday this year.($19) I had been using a K10 Royale and decided it was time for an upgrade. The slimness and weight of the phone is fantastic. Several of my coworkers want to play with it. I was disappointed with the built in wallpapers and ringers on the phone. I would love to strangle whoever decided on these ringtones. They are beyond annoying. I recommend downloading "Sirius" by The Alan Parsons Project as a cool generic ringer for this phone from the Virgin Mobile Website. I wish to hell you could get back some precious memory by eliminating crappy built in garbage ringtones and wallpapers. Also check out some of the outdoors wallpapers for some respectable desktops. The speaker is relativ...

utstar is stupid

This thing is a SLVR wannabee.

1. Slice | SLVR .. wow creative 🙄

2. The keypad and overall look of the phone is SLVR-like.

i am not one of those people who think any new thin phone is a RAZR/SLVR copycat but come on!!

this thing will sell though. on VM, those kids that want SLVRs can now have their own crappy version

gzone

I found this for the Japanese market, can't read it but it seem they have a digital compass. Great if you are mountain biking, like what the phone can do. Be Tough. Does anyone know if it's only for this newer version or was it ever on the previous version like the one coming to the US market?
thanks

Waterproof Phone

Is there a timetable for it's release in the USA? Is there any change of a GSM model being available for the USA or Europe. I really would like something like that as water damage has done in more than one phone of mine.

Nokia N73 to have WIFI?

Based on the below quote from the article, am I to assume that the Nokia N73 may soon have WIFI capabilities. Or does it currently have capabilities that allow it to go on the Net w/o WIFI?

>Other features of the new browser include...to make logging into sites less cumbersome on a numeric-keypad device like the N73.
