I was wondering if my Nokia N73 is defective or it is normal for the video call camera in front to make everything show red.

I have a Nokia 6255i and I am having some dificulty with it! 1 I have some rightones stored in the tones section of my media gallery, and I want to specifically set one of those to one of my contacts? Any way to do that!?!? And 2nd how do I get the memory card to be used in the phone!?!? Thanks!

Looking for opinions/suggestions based on your experiences.

Had been holding out for the new Nokia 6126 to be released via Cingular but latest word is that is either canceled for good or on hold indefinitely, neither which is of much help to me at present.

For awhile I've been convinced that Nokia is the best brand as far as sound clarity is concerned SO, wondering if I should just get an unlocked 6102i for the interim, hoping that the 6126 will eventually see the light of day OR start all over and consider other brands (Motorola?). Thoughts/opinions/suggestions?

Note, my two main criteria are quad band and a flip.

Can someone tell me the difference between these two OS from Nokia? Where can I read up on this?

I'm thinking about getting the 6270 phone (S40), but really like the N80 smartphone (S60) and I know the N80 is not compatible with 3G Cingular here in the states.

Has anybody else been to Nokia's first retail location in the US? I'll be putting some video of it onto google video and Youtube when I get a chance and I'll post a link on here. The Nokia store has a very high tech look and setup, and many of the high end Nokia phones unavailable by US carriers. Destination Q, Motorola's sad attempt at a retail location is right down the street and only carries the Motorola Q. I'm currently using a Motorola phone, although Im missing my Series 60 Nokia, I will be switching to the N80 within the next couple of weeks. The Nokia store overall features several other handsets including most of the N series of phones and several other high end phones from Nokias fashion line and business devices like the internet...

When doing a comparison and looking in the "phone finder" the finder says that the 6230i is 850/1800/1900 while everything I've read indicates that the 6230i only comes in a 900/1800/1900 version. Which is correct?

Between the two phones (6102i and Sony Ericsson Z525a), which would you suggest?

Just bought a Nokia 6682 from cingular; their sync program Nokia PC Suite seems to only allow syncing to one folder of outlook contacts with no filtering.

I need to sync contacts with a certain catagory in multiple folders. Is this possible?

My previous phone synced this way with no problem. The way Nokia does it, i would need to have thousands of contacts in my nokia, which is not needed.

Please advise.

I have recently bought Nokia E61 and I am quite impressed with it. I have made email settings and I am able to successfully download emails from my mail server. However when I try to send mails it gives an error" unable to send mail". I observe this problem when I am connected through "wi-fi" as well as Cellular Operator. So it does not appear to be related to operators settings.

For incoming mails I use POP3 and outgoing SMTP. The username, password, servername etc are correct. Infact by using same parameters I download and send mails from my desktop.

I have contacted Nokia technical support and they are so ignorant I ended up teaching them how to set email accounts on this device.

Can someone help me to resolve this issue.

Im so frustrated with this phone! I can't send a text to an email adress and be able to respond back and forth! I talked to a cingular tech support guy and he told me i'm going to have to have to start from scratch each response? I tried to send an email to an address too, but that method isn't working either, it bounces right back to me. The phone is great otherwise and I'd hate to have to get rid of this phone.

I need to go back and forth all day to email addresses and use this feature as much as I talk on it. It was so easy with my samsung... Any suggestions on what to do?

Someone please help me!! I keep reading about Diego, but I can't find it do download it. Does anyone have a USEFUL link were I can get it? Please I really want my phone's picture ID to work!

I have a 6255 and my customer has a 6235. My customer wants to record a voice recording on his phone and have it be his ring tone. When I set it up to do that, we get an invalid tone message. Can it be done, or has USCC messed up my phone again! Just wondering.

I've noticed a couple programmed problems with my new Nokia 6102i.

Anyone else out there have some answers to help???

1. When my flip is closed, and I want to NOT answer a call, I can hit the VOLUME DOWN button to silence the ringer, but can not send the caller immediately to voice mail (ie: when the flip is open, I can silence the ringer using the RIGHT soft key, then hit the same key again to send the caller immediately to VM). Is there a way to do this with the flip closed?

2. With the flip closed, I use the VOLUME DOWN button to (hopefully) decrease the ringer volume. Even if I turn it all the way down, that does nothing to my ringer volume. It only decreases my ear volume! Everyone else find this to be true.

Will i be able to take my regular gsm sim chip, and use it with the up and coming USA N80 version. What issues might I have?.. I guess i wont be able to use video calling.. unless Tmobile uses cingulars 3g Networks?..

also I was considerig the LG CU230 phone, but im not sure if my sim card will work in it, or if i need to buy one unlocked or something..also they speak about it having a 3g sim card..again i wonder if T-mobile has a 3g card up and coming?
