Droid 3

Looks like this will be a nice phone. They really improved the keyboard for those that actually used the keyboard and included a front facing camera on it. I'm excited for the launch of this phone next month.

Just read that google is taking tethering apps off the market

Its true. Then I read the F.U from pda net on the market. It was great. Also wireless tether for root is gone, but Im sure there will be a third party link on any of the forums.

how often should the typical android be hard reset?

It seems I have to reset my phone every other month, because it gets really slow and buggy.
At my job, I only talk to people that have problems, so it seems like I am hard resetting androids all day, everyday. I am tempted to tell my customers to eventually expect to have to do a hard reset (not a good idea, I know).

I only use apps from the Market. And my browser only visits news sites, netflix and here.g

I have the Dinc BTW.

Live Wallpapers

Looking for two different live wallpapers - wondering if anyone had ever heard of something like it.

First, a live wallpaper that has a line of RSS scrolling on a portion of it. It would be sweet to just have news updates, status updates, market quotes, etc... scrolling in the back without the need of a widget or app.

Second, a live walpaper of a transparent engine running. Thought that would be pretty sweet.

Any thoughts?

task killer app

Verizon told me to use the task killer app to prolong the life of my battery for my Thunderbolt. The tech said in the settings there was a frequency setting ie every two hours every one hour etc. Anyone know how to find that? Or any other ideas about saving the battery? I have the extended battery and sometimes get only about 8 to 10 hours.
