Please help with bloothtooth file transfer
I know this has been posted in the past but there were no responses.
First off I know that Verizon Wireless diables OBEX(Object Exchange).
But with uscc phones is it possible to transfer data via bluetooth between two phones?
If it is possible is it only between phones of the same manufacturer?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
thanks!

Well here is what i found out.
USCC tech support told me that US Cellular does not support bluetooth file transfer between phones. Even though bluetooth transmission don't go through the network it is a local data transmission.
Lol but just 10 minutes ago I successfully transfered data between 2 unactivated Nokia 6265's.
So it IS possible, but I am guessing there might be limitations between manufacturers.
Any more info from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Carriers locking phone features isn't new sadly. I knew Verizon blocked it on most of their phones, now I know that USCC does it on some models too.
