I know we are at the same exact pace we were last year...
...
so is that good or bad? and if ya dont mind can i ask what market your in?
...
Im in Maryland - indirect agent.
Its slow. We have the same numbers, so yeah, last year was slow. Traffic is slow on the weekdays... picks up on the weekends a bit.
So yeah... its slow. But I have a feeling its more the economy... people here are freaking out over the electric company rate hike and the constant rise of gas/gallon. So I think all of it is just playing on thier minds and they are conserving. The malls have been less packed - even in higher income areas...

A big fat C on that one.
Im not even 50% to quota yet. Getting scared I'm not going to get paid this month. Ouch
...
Indirect in PA. I did 2 new, 8 upgrade, 2 prepay, and 1 cold unit today. I sold 7 data plans. I would say that is a B. Yesterday you could hear a pin drop though. But a rainy Saturday will mean I should hit around 20 tomorrow.
I am doing ok. Our store is on pace for what we did last month. I should hit about 200 total numbers this month.

What market in pa? what indirect? i'm in pa and indirect also

My only competetion is Wal-Mart. They sell things cheap, but I have already have had my slew of customers that were sent by people that said DO NOT SHOP at Walmart. Customer buys a phone. Gets the first bill. Has questions. Wal-mart rep, "Duuuuhhh, I don't know. I just push buttons here. You need to call 1-800-922-0204. They can answer your questions. I can't." Customer comes into my store. "I don't like talking to an automated machine. Here is my problem." I help the customer and tell them to send people in so I can keep my doors open to provide services such as that.
Just like when they first started selling Nextel. Their numbers went to nothing quick. Same thing will happen with Verizon. There will be those that buy just ...

Colorada retail
New Circuit City store with no sign up yet
I ended up at 70% to quota which is the lowest I have been in 6 years working for VZW
Hope this month is better. I can't afford another low month like that.

Western PA... Possibly relocating to SC.
Things are real bad right now. Currently indirect. Somehow ive done a 4 to 1 ratio upgrades to new adds this month, so i may not make my car payment lol. We usually do about 8 to 1 new adds over upgrades, especially since we cant do new every 2. Im frustrated.
Anyone have any tips on getting into vzw corp store? I submit to postings on career link about once a month, and never get a call. Ive been in wireless since 2000! I just finished my bachelors, and yet I wanna stay in wireless. Its the one thing im passionate about. I really just wanna get into a corp store, work my ass off, get the numbers, set the world on fire, and go for try for an ASM position as soon as ive proven myself. I just...

I will say that this month has been OK. I have it my quota, but will not exceed it the way I have become accustomed too for the past 8 months or so, which is going to result in a considerably lower paycheck than I am used to.

sorry to hear that âšī¸ what market do you sell in?
