Do the math. Check your bills and see how many GB's you average over 3-6 months. Based on that, figure out what level of GB's you would need on Verizon's Share Everything plans and add up a potential phone bill. Project that out over 24 months and see if the discount is better for you or if unlimited data is better. In my case I have 2 smartphones and a home phone connect, and with a shared bundle of 8GB to cover it my bill under Share Everything would go up about $40/mo. The typical smartphone discount is about $450, meaning I break even after only 11 months. If I keep unlimited data and buy my own phone I pay less over that 24 months, so to paraphrase the NRA, "they can have my unlimited data when they pry it from my cold, dead hands."
