First of all I would never look for additional information from a Verizon rep when I was in the store wanting to buy a phone. You can't know how knowledgeable that person is and whether or not they have a reason to push a particular phone. It's best to do as much homework as possible in advance. That includes checking out the available accessories and handling the phones if your friends/family have them. If not handle them in the store because there's no substitute for seeing how they look and feel. If you're not sure do what I do, which is walk out and think about it. Remember you need to be reasonably satisfied with your choice for two years, and that will feel like a long time if you regret it. Be prepared to have high priced accessories pushed your way as well when you're finalizing the purchase - they can usually be bought elsewhere for a fraction of the cost.
