Historically, Motorola has made the best antennas in Verizon devices, and the larger the phone is, the more likely it is to have larger or multiple antennas.

So, look for the biggest Motorola you're willing to stick in your pocket.

LG is #2 for reception, but their Androids are kind of "meh" in my book. If you're looking for a non=-smartphone, you could think about a large LG.
