I am not sure where you are going with this, but it is neither a right or a privilege...For many people it is a necessity. And while some consumers can be ridiculous, many are tired of rising prices and anti-consumer policies.

While some customers feel like everything should be given to them, others are justified when they are upset. Also, employees of wireless companies can themselves be arrogant, forgetting what it is like to be a normal customer.

That being said, I still do not really know what specifically you are talking
