Feb 1st online and b2b
Feb 15th Retail

$249 with a 2yr

The dummy models sent out feels like crap. Granted that could just be build quality, but if the shape is right I won't like it.

The battery isn't flush with the back of the phone, its actually recessed a little, so instead of putting a bigger battery in it, they made the phone uncomfortable.

It may be a good smartphone and all, but if I don't like holding it, who cares.

just my opinion of course, I'll reserve full judgement till we get the real ones.

I held the mock up at my local store... even managed to get a brochure out of them.

I agree about the battery.
They probably did that so they can offer an extended life battery that will mount flush.

The size was ok..... I like the flip idea but I sure wish they could do a touch screen.

My rep said they usually get the mock ups about 1 month from release.
They are all required to take training on the new device prior to release.
A few specs from the brochure are:
Size: 2.03 x 3.84 x .078
dual LCD: internal 2.2 65k color ext 1.07 65k
Talk time 200 minutes
1.3 mp camera
speakerphone

Accessories:
desktop charger
extended battery
steao headset with mic
data cable
holster

I also looks to have an external extendable ant...

Is the Feb 1st date pretty much set in stone? There have been so many delays with this device (at least with respect to rumored launch dates) dating back to late summer, I just don't think I can take another one! Was actually hoping for something even sooner, given that it has been up on Testman for over a week now.

Also, I noticed Feb 1 is a Thursday. Do phones usually launch late in the week like that?

Thanks for the info!!!
