Does anyone have any idea whether those phones are worth the wait?? It seems that the consensus is that motorola on verizon sucks. Why would these phones be any different...

It's the UI that sux, motorola phones aren't meant to be reprogrammed that extensively. Almost all of the issues with those phones have to do with programming.

I was waiting for the U740 but I heard not so good review on the site on CES 2007. So I want the U620, LG 8600 is a nice phone but I like the EnV better. I text alot.

i think the u620 and the lg 9400 will come out some time this quarter (1Q being now till the end of March)but not till after the 15 of Febuary. And they will most likely have a seperate mailing for the rebate on these phones. As for the new phones on the rebate pads they may come out any where from a week or two after the rebate pads come out, vzw does not always tell you that HEY THIS PHONE IS OUT....it will show on the ordering site as avalible and you can order it or you will see it on line somewhere else.

I honestly don't know lets say they don't meddle in the manufacture process at all, they would still get an A+ in consistently picking out the ugliest phones available.
