i have friends with tmobile and cingular and whenever someone calls them, they have the ability to link the three of us together with just a touch of a button. I hate how whenever im on the phone, someone calls, and i click over saying "hey im on the other line with suzie, let me call you right back on threeway"

Cause businesses and cheating husbands don't want to accidently activate this feature.

What the heck? All Verizon phones have 3 way calling capability.

Albie is right. Everytime I am on the phone with someone and another calls I have to hang up with one of them and call the other back. It's so annoying. When I had Cingular I would just press the 'link' button and we were all connected

Whoops 🤭 Nevermind. I forgot that I did it on another phone on a different network. That's what I get for using too many phones. Yeah not being able to link calls on Verizon is lame. Hopefully they'll be able to fix it someday.

No you're lame because you can't figure it out. Get out your phone manual and read it. You will find the manual rather useful, instead of assuming that features like "3 way calling" are not an option on your service.

Like I said before, VERIZON HAS 3 WAY CALLING AND YOU CAN "LINK" MORE THAN 1 PERSON AT A TIME IN A CALL.

Straight from Verizon's Website.

3-Way Calling

Can I turn a call waiting call into a 3-Way call? No, but you do have the option to speak to the second caller by pressing SEND. To return to the first call, press SEND again. To switch between the two calls, press SEND.

you can create a 3 way call if you initiate the 2nd to connect the 3rd person. But if the 3rd person calls you it doesn't happen according to Verizon.

My bad, I misunderstood. I didn't know you couldn't do this call waiting switch to 3 way calling. Are we getting that lazy that we can't just call the other person and do three way calling?

I don't think people are lazy I think its just a small inconvience that would be nice if it could be fixed but no big deal if it never happens.
