How much are you allowed to credit while on the phone with the cutomer and is there actually an "adjustment review board" for any adjustments over that amount?

fifty dollars with no review from sup but it can fail a audit they can go over fifty with approval from sup it depends though it's a grey area they tie the amount of credits they give out with there yearly bonus so giving credits is frowned upon even if it is justified. i hate those crooks they can all burn in hell merry xmass to everyone but vzw. SOS for life!!

I can't speak for all of the outsource centers, but from what I've read in our M&Ps, they have a $25.00 credit limit. Above that and it goes to a credit review team (like the one I'm one) where it is approved or denied.

BULLSHIT! If you are an employee you have a ton to learn! Pull the Credit Limit Authorizations M&P and see the attached title to level matrix 🙄

there is nothing bull**** about what I posted. I can apply as big of a credit to an account as I want as long as its valid.

If it is above 150$ it will go to my supe for approval, not some "review board"

I have issued credits up to a thousand dollars without speaking to a supe before and my supe/AD has never once denied a credit that I have issued.

if a credit is valid you do not need to get permission you apply it and it gets approved, period.

That is true, there is no adjustment review board, the is a dept that does audits of adjustments for accuracy such as math figures, etc. but they would not reverse one even if incorrect, the rep would fail the audit though.. Anyway at my location (not an outsource, have no idea what they go by) none of above is true except midinights, if an adjustment is valid due to some type of obivous error, does not matter the dollar amt the adjustment can be done without sup approval, it just goes to suprv level after it is submitted basically to ck it off if the credit exceeds $150.00. Otherwise if not a valid reason to adjust a suprv would have to approve any decision to make any type of adjustment to a valid chg. There is only a very small amt of ...

Most of these replies are total BS! 150% yes there is credit limit, that is based on your title/level in the company! And yes there is a review process if you apply a credit higher than your limit! In most centers any credit applied higher than the reps limit (even if only 0.002! ) it will go directly to that Reps Sup to review the acct, situation, previous credits, and their notes of why and then once and only once the Sup approves it will it actually hit the acct! Some centers (based on area) may have a review team that it goes go to instead where they do the same as listed above!

Any credit above ones limit will show on the acct as pending and NOT impact on the acct balance until its actually approved (or denied if its is not a true a...

Well I know for a fact that pretty much always when we call in to get a customer credit the rep does it on the spot. If we pull the account up after the call their balance has already been dropped to show the new total.

I suspect, like mayn other things at Verizon, the right hand doesn't always know what the left hand is doing. There have been many times I've worked with a CSR and credits, some of which have been fairly high dollar amounts, have gone right through, no qualifcations made or accepted. Other times, I've jumped through hoops from here to tomorrow to get $50 dollars removed from a bill.

of why you guys have zero access to applying credits and why these are so many unnecessary credits issued for clean-up matter........LACK OF ATTENTION TO DETAILS! Just skimming through and not actually seeing or reading what is in front of you, always a rush to fly through to the end!

BOTH of you just flew right past the most important part of the post w/o picking it up and commented directly about it!

Any credit above ones limit will show on the acct as pending and NOT impact on the acct balance until its actually approved (or denied if its is not a true and accurate reason to apply!)

Voice,
Hope you aren't referring to my post cause I do know the process at my location quite well, pass my transaction audits 100% consistantly.. 😎 So that being said, IF it is an obivious error, billing issue, etc, sup approval is not required prior to issuing the adjustment but once issued if over $150.00 it does go to sup to ck off.

Not at all. My comment was based on the trend I saw towards what others were saying, not what one specific post said. The reality is that there are two different experiences that seem to be somewhat opposed to each other. My comment was that it is indeed possible to have both of the answers/experiences as valid.

As to your post: I'm not interested in having access to applying credits, nor did I bring it up in my post. If your desire is to feed your ego by making a baseless supposition, by all means, do so. But, perhaps I can direct you to the lounge portion of this forum, instead?
