Hey Guys,

I just got my EnV 9900 this monday from fedex. I been noticing when i dont use the phone for a couple of hours it will turn off by itself. Has this happen to anyone else?

Since I bought it over the phone can I just walk into a Verizon Corp. Store and exchange it for another one. I still have everything with me and the box still has the UPC on.

Thanks

I just got a 9900 and I've noticed 2 things about it.

1. It appears to turn off because the exterior goes completely off, even the LCD. I think they did this to get the really long battery life. If you open it, it comes back on.

2. When downloading in VCast, I have lost a connection and it went to a Blue Screen with VX-9900 in the middle with a circle round it and a constant buzz out of the speakers. No button activity, coudn't even power it off, had to remove the battery. Reset it and it works fine.

If your phone is really going off and not just going to sleep I would return it ASAP! VZW's policy is too good in the first 15 days to fuss with a quirky phone.

if it's in the first 15 days of purchasing a new phone they are obligated to give you another new phone.

Thanks, for the info. I will take it back and get a new one. Hopefully the other one won't do the same.

Thanks

VZW has a DOA policy- if the phone in fact is not sleeping take the device and all the paperwork including the box the phone came in to an actual VZW store (not a car toys or wally wireless world). A tech at a store will fill out a DOA failure report and ship the phone back to the wharehouse via the return shipping lable that came with ur phone.

This policy is for the West area only so if ur area code of ur mobile number is of that of wyoming and west on then this applies to u
