yeah, you have to go on the web with sprint, because you can't make a voice call anywhere!

Wow you really have allot of misconceptions about Sprint. I carry both verizon and Sprint and my Sprint phone makes excellent calls and in many places verizon doesn't...plus I can view full HTML pages.

lol @ full html pages on a two inch screen. Honestly, get over it! And I have used sprint and quite simply prefer verizon. Sprint does have excellent voice quality, but if you travel away from big cities the coverage can get a little suspect.

will it ever end. My wireless company is so much better then yours. You can't make calls outside of a city. Verizon this sprint that. They both have outstanding networks and depending on what you want would dictate which one is best for you. Wow

Actually we can. Its called what consumers are buying.

The last time I checked 1.9 million people this past quarter bought into Verizon whereas Sprint had only 233k additions.

I have to laugh when people say there is no way to quantify which network is better... We do and its called consumer net adds and churn. Consumers will buy into what has value despite the individual bells and whistles each carrier has to offer.

actually alot of ppl like the 9900. and im pretty sure that only geeks like you would complain about "not being able to see full HTML pages" if you think about it...not many normal customers really use the web. the only people that use it either are in a buisness and actually need it or people that have no life 😁

first off i think a phone with full internet on a 2 inch screen is dumb. if i want to find something out ill go on my laptop and find out instantly...

2ndly im not bashing sprint but my brother had sprint and he is a pilot and flies all over the major cities on the east coast (florida to maine) and he had a discount w/ sprint (huge discount) but he still switched to Verizon (due to lack of coverage across US) for better coverage. He hasnt had a problem since he switched 4 months ago.

Or maybe, 50 other million people like you have brought conversation up already.

But thanks for reminding us that people like you think that all Verizon phones have the same UI.

BTW, not "ALL" Verizon phones have the same UI. Thanks for playing.

No, what he's saying is basically that Verizon is now giving you options. The LG 9900, 8300, 8500, 8600, 3400 ALL have different UI's available. All but the 8300 have the factory UI standard with the option to turn on the VZW UI. Oh, and the 3400...you can't get the VZW UI at all.

Those are all the same UI- come on now just because you replace white battery bars with green ones doesn't make it not the same UI, its the same UI just with a few equally lame themes.

And yes your very basic 3400 was left with the LG UI which is basically conforms with the standardized UI.

Simple English sir. Look up the word minority, it refers to the people here who bitch about the UI. The quarterly #'s answer your question, the MAJORITY don't care and or prefer the UI. The MAJORITY doesn't poke around on message forums about cell phones.

Okay but I guess I should have clarified, because I didn't earlier and its my fault not doing so on what my point was, and that is whether or not it is a subject brought up and are the reps saying otherwise here. During Thanksgiving my parents asked why their phones were similar when my dad has motorola and my mom has an LG phone, and I have to say I laughed, because I thought of this site, and how people that don't know anything about phones aren't asking these questions according to some, and my friends who are now coming out of their two year contracts are wondering why they have to pay more for one phone with Verizon, when many of them are the same, except when it comes to a Flip phone to the LG V or EnV.

And being able to change t...

Not with Sprint they put full HTML web access on all their EVDO capable handsets, i have it over 1 year old Sanyo 7500 and it awesome!!

acutally i like that it has the same interface. i mean everything is set up nicely and when you go from a lg to a sammy your still familiar everything. take Windows for an example, its the same thing from dell to hp to compaq, people are thankful that they are using something that they and everybody is familiar with. now with the UI again. LG's and sammys and motos are almost the same. same layout, same messaging system. almost same everything. playing verizon phones i have noticed that you have more options on your UI with lgs and their messaging system is much better for instance the t9 on lgs is awesome.

Then why charge different prices for the same size television when they all are capable of getting the same channels? Instead of just posting useless thoughts, try some common sense first. Go out and buy an LG 3400 and tell us if you noice any difference between that and the 8500, 8600, Razr, Krazr, etc. Furthermore come back in a month or two and let us know how the performance on the phone is. 🙄

This same crap again can be said about all the different cell phones.

Don't give us this "Verizon" BS Kingfrog.

Market will dictate what it will pay for and what it won't. But I forgot, since you are anti-Verizon, you are also anti-Capitalism. And since you are anti-Capitalism, following the same logic paths you have shown on here, that makes you a goddamn atheistic commie.

If you look at trends obviously the majority of phone users don't give a damn. If they did you wouldn't see Verizon continually beating everyone else in quarterly #'s. Same goes for your web access on Sprint. Niche markets don't always pay off, this is a good example. Didn't know if anyone(you) else noticed. Have a good day, your mileage may vary.
