I have an LG8600
the ui is some what different, the signal bars are the same but the menu looks different,more or a samsung menu. it is very light but again it feels like the samsung black when holding the phone and touching the key pad.
there isn't a one touch camara button nor is there a camara button on the outside. i just got the phone so i haven't really played with it.

How is the phone for texting? I heard the keys are just like the razr.. how true is this? Thanks for any info.

it would be fine for texting however there is no seperation of the keys that you can feel really so you will have to look most likely as you txt. its all just a smooth piece

Can you test it to see if you can close the phone while on speakerphone. I am deciding between the krzr or the 8600. krzr you can close the phone any input on what to get. thanks

yeah, i am also deciding against the krzr and the 8600. what i like about the krzr is that you can actually push the buttons easier unlike the razor. i definitely like LG's T9WORD better then motorala's texting system. i find it much easier. i've been waiting for the 8600 to come out for awhile now and i hope it's worth the hype..i do like the closing the phone while on speakerphone feature with motorola but on the krzr when you're using the mp3 player, you can't do any thing else on the phone but listen to the music (for instance you can't access contacts, texts or anything along those lines [i hope you can with the 8600]) if anyone has any comments or suggestions, that'd be awesome!

It's a very large screen compared to other phones released it's about the same size as the razr but the quality of the screen is better the the razr.
