Corporate Discount

I just started with a new organization and we use Verizon for everything. I went to the Verizon site, entered my address and it said I qualified for the discount. I see in other posts that I can get the discount in stores. My question is what is the normal discount or does it depend on the organization. I work for a non-profit (not sure if that makes a difference). What happens if I leave the organization at any point during the contract? Thanks.

corp discounts vary so you would need to go to or call the store to see what you need to do. as for if you leave during the contract.... hmmmm you should call and let vzw customer service know as soon as you leave and tell them to remove the discount from your account. 😉

What do I need to take into the store to prove my employment? Do they apply the discount right away for the next billing cycle?

If you have a work E-mail address it is much, much quicker to apply on the website, as you aren't waiting for a human to proces... go to www.verizonwireless.com, home page , employee discounts.. Your employment is varified thru computer, gets added in a few days.. Saves you from going to store, frees up store reps for other issues, etc.. Now, if the email is unable to verify (which can happen) there is a toll free # automated system can fax the paper to you, you fax it back...verified and discount is added... (BTW, 😉 if you change companies and don't call discount stays until otherwise, ie falls off, gets checked etc.)

Do you have the automated number? I have tried submitting online and I do not get an email reply. It just says that I qualify. Thanks.
