on the rebate form for the chocolate right..... has anyone noticed it also says its for the lg vx 8600 as well? valid dates are mid oct to mid nov. anyone heard anything on a release date?

A VZW rep told me that an LG rep had visited near the Chocolate launch and actually had an 8600 with him. Best guess would be around Thanksgiving for holiday promotions. As for the other anticipated LG (9900) The guy had no information and said he had not even seen it yet

it has to be before that. the rebate expires the week of thanksgiving. and I have seen the 9900. it will be out shortly.

They'll have a new rebate slip with all of the phones on them. They always update them. And again, it will probably be out sooner, but I wouldn't expect any of them any later than that.

I saw a picture of the phone on an ad at Best Buy yesterday but they didn't have any. Has it been released early by Best Buy? Any ideas on the release?
