Despite what the naysayers say, the Pearl is a marketing dream. I wouldn't doubt that RIM is working on a CDMA version right now. Just no idea when.

i think the phone will come out but i doubt it would be a huge thing, about 80% of bb users that use vzw work for the gov't and can't have camara phones

Oh I think it's considerably less than that who have a BB and work for the government. Seriously, though, if Blackberries had better web browsers, I'd buy one myself. I'm neither here nor there with the Pearl, though, but I can see how it would probably get a few laymen to buy one.

actually the pearl is an awsome phone and too bad for you that have verizon lose out and it works perfect with the t-mobile network in my area. Great pictures and great you can use it as an mp3 player and get free ringtones!!

there probably wll be a pearl or similar model made for CDMA within the next 6-12 months I just dont know when or if for sure
