i need help having problems with verizon

OK this is the story it started about 2 months ago and got worst as time went on. sometimes when people call me i ans and they cant hear me and i cant hear them, sometimes people call me and i ans i hear my own echo they here nothing, sometimes people call me and it is very static or sometimes when i call out it rings for a sec and i hear nothing after that. i called them they told me to do some stuff and test called me and it still didn't work it was the echo one. she told me there is a problem we will open up a ticket and send it to the department. the next day someone call me from them and ask me of a time that it happened i told them they said ok i do see a problem we will get back to you.they never called back. i keep on calling them an...

Calm down turbo, it is possible its the network but more then likely its the phone, if hes not eligable for a new phone yet then it will be tricky/costly for him to just run out and buy an 8300. Lets try to exhaust all the other options first. πŸ˜‰

there nothing tricky about it πŸ˜‰ drive your ass down to the store point to the 8300 and make a grunt sound, the problem will be solved i know it.

thats why people need to come to this site and others before they purchase a phone, verizon offers great phone, the 6100 is a pos tho

Damn that is the best response I heard yet on this forum lol. Aron don't pay attention to most these guys they like Verizon so much they want to marry it and have its babies. What you need to do is tell them to fix the damn prob, or you are going to cancel without paying the fee. Then march your butt to Cingular or T-Mobile and get a phone. That is my advice.

Because let me tell you, the same thing that is going on with you happened to me and I was forced to pay full retail price. And I dont' care what the others say it has happened to me and Verizon doesn't care.

If its a network problem then it seems like EVERYBODY in your area would be having the same problem. To me it sounds like it might be a phone issue, the 6100 was known to have quite a few problems.

I would try to get another phone on your account just to see what happens, maybe take it to your local corp store and see what they can do for you.

Do it and you will see that im right, its the phone i guarantee you that, what do you have to loose if you experience the same problem then you know it the network and you can return it and get your money back...but its not i promise you and you'll see im dead right..i went through five of those junk phones, its the phone many have experience your same problem.

Get it through your heads! And no unless it is time to upgrade they are going to be pricks about it and make him pay full price if they "can't find what is wrong with it" airquotes. I have dealt with it from VZW and it sucks!

I have the same problems, although probably not the extend you do, with my VX-8000. I don't have the problem with my Motorola or Samsung phones used in the same area so I don't think it is the network.

I would suggest paying the $50 replacement fee since it is out of warrenty, or buying a used phone on ebay. I don't know why people are dogging the lg-vx6100, when it came out 2 years ago people were acting like it was the best phone ever. I have 3 family members who have it and have never heard a complaint.

if 250 is to much for you to spend jump on ebay and you can pick yourself up the moto e815 for like 100 bucks, or if you want a similar phone to the one you have the LG 6000 for like 60 bucks! the 6000 was the good one. best of luck

Funny i've had the same problems except my list is endless. Duplicate text messages, calling people and they cant hear me, getting text messages 12 hours AFTER the fact, blah,blah,etc.etc. sigh. I called a sup this morning (she gave me her name and direct number a month ago) and let it loose. she said she would monitor my account to check for overages and i told her point blank i appreciate it, but it's not your job. she keeps telling me the technicians are saying that it's nothing wrong with the network i said well maybe it's this reconditioned phone (i've had 3 VX9800's since switching to Verizon in May 2006) they come up with every reason under the sun to not give credit, compensation for being inconveinenced but i told her this mornnig i...

yes at first i had great service and No it didn't go to hell overnight.(i never said it did) I switched to them in May and started experiencing the problems late July early august.

The *228 is verizons form of duct tape, fixes everything.

On aron, the calls not always connecting, that happens to everybody, on verizon network, or extended network, and it does not matter which phone you have. Heck, I had a friend that was talking to someone and all of a sudden he was talking to a construction worker in another state. Cell phone service is not perfect by any means. Hopefully you get your problems solved.

If I were in your shoes, call verizon 3 or 4 times a day complaining, keep it up, don't ease up on them, eventually you will get some results. Tell them you want a different phone,this has been ongoing since you had the phone, they kept telling you that they would fix the problem, which they have not. Tell th...

You need help having problems? Verizon usually does a pretty good job of that on their own... What's your billing zipcode, I'll check the warehouse, they might be out of problems...

i called up verizon on fri they tell me that they closed the ticket they couldn't find a problem on wed. i never got a call or nothing i went crazy on them b/c first they tell me its a porb on there end now they tell me its not. so for 2 months i had to put up with this problem and then they tell me they cant do nothing. i told her a want a new phone she said u would have to pay 50 to replace the phone or full price for a new phone with a 25% discount. this is crazy i think i should get more then that. i ask for a supervisor they tell they are all in a meeting i will have someone call u back. guess what no call. what do i do

do you know anybody that has a verizon phone laying around? It has to be 911 compatible, or whatever that is. If you can find a friend that has one laying around, ask to use that and try it, that will tell you if it is just your phone.

Or goto ebay and see what you can find. And the third choice, and last choice is what I told you earlier, keep calling, and calling. You are in a situation that sucks.

I have never had this problem with them, they usually have corrected the problem. you said you went off on them, that is the last thing you want to do when you want something. Kill them with kindness, suck it up, and be extremely nice, because you are asking them to do something they don't have to. You may not get anything from them,...

ok will try and call them and be nice. if that dont work if i can get a phone cheaper then 50 bucks on ebay i will do it or just give them the 50 and get a refurbished 6100 till jun when i can upgrade. i wish someone had another number of a verizon office that will help me out and understand me
