Traded the "Q" for the "P"
I returned the "Q" yesterday because of the short battery life, even with the extended battery, for the 700p. It's the best decision I've made in a long time in regards to cell phones. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Would you mind sharing your opinion of the Q, outside of the battery life? I'm trying to decide if I want a pda/phone, and have been thinking Blackberry vs. 700p, but would like to hear the problems with the Q.
Thanks.

I traded my Treo 700W for the Q and I'm happy. I got tired of the lack of Memory on the Treo and the locking up and rebooting that had to be done. The Q doesn't have this problem.. way more memory available. I had some battery issues the first couple days but now it's great. I get 2 to 3 days out of my Q. Turning off bluetooth when not in use makes a difference.

That's odd that your 700w locked up, my Q also froze/locked up a couple of times. Other than that and the battery life the phone is very easy to navigate through, but I chose to go to the Palm software based on my experiences with it in the past. I'm very, very pleased with the 700p. I chose to stay away from the windows software because of the locking up issue I had in the short time I had the Q. My suggestion for a pda/phone would be the 700p over the Q and the 700w and the blackberry. The blackberry would be my second choice, only because of the bulkyness of it compared to the 700p.

I had a q I was extremely disappointed with its sluggish performance. The q had noticeable lag and I got terrible signal in many areas where I had no prior issues.
The q seems to be a love it or hate it phone.

I didn't "hate" it, but I do "LOVE" my 700p!!!!

Thanks for the input.
