Early Upgrade.

ToughLove

I know that this has been brought up several times before, but I don't quite have a clear answer.
I am currently 17 months into a 2 year contract and am looking for a way to get an early phone upgrade. I am willing to sign a new 2 year agreement and will also be upgrading my service contract to a plan valued at $59.99. My problem is that a NW Verizon Customer Service Rep is making it sound as if there is no such "Early Upgrade Program". I feel as if Im getting a general response from someone who may not be fully aware of the situation. Is this Early Upgrade Program a real policy? Or is it an "under the table", "talk to the right person" sort of thing.

On your price plan level- you can upgrade 2 months early- so basically an easy way to figure out when you will be elgible is when you are within 4 months of your contract being up.

There is an early upgrade program- you can upgrade if you're 22 months into a 24 month contract. If you're on a $59.99 price plan for 3 consecutive months or more you can upgrade your phone on the 20th month in your contract. Keep in mind, that you also have the new every two feature on your acct for doing a two year contract; that feature can only be redeemed 2 months prior to contract end date.

Yes there is an early upgrade and you can do it every 12 month if you have signed 24 month contract, as long as you switch to, or stay above $49.99. Only thing i m not sure about is if that is true for NorthEast only.

It is the same way in the midwest except you need to go to or stay above a 59.99 calling plan

In the west area, there is no such thing as this. Schnozejt is correct, however, in the early PHUP progeram. Note that this can only be done at a VzW store or via c/s when the time comes.
